When we're not travelling the country in our collection vans, we love a ride out ourselves and often find it difficult picking a location to take out the beast.
We're not ones for forums or owners clubs ourselves, we can barely use a computer! However, one of our guys stumbled upon a site that might just make your day!
We headed over to take a look at SundayMorningRides.com and quickly flicked to the UK site (www.sundaymorningrides.com/uk) where we discovered an amazing yet somewhat limited collection of the best bike rides in the UK. While some of these kinda require you to travel the country to get to the starting points, we thought it might be handy for those near each area to know the common routes our UK bikers are taking on their sunday morning ride!
We've picked out some of our favourites below and encourage you to check out the site yourself. They have 3D 'fly-throughs' to show you how the route will look as you ride too. Pretty awesome stuff! The only thing it's missing is compatibility for Google Chrome (as it needs the Google Earth plugin from about 2005!). In addition to this, you can download the ride for your GPS! (requires some technical gumpf to get set up though - lookout for the TINY cloud/arrow icon to download and then ask your kids!)
Still, if you're struggling for inspirational rides, tis not a bad start!
